Here in the desert where I live, water is very precious. On a walk along the Verde River near my home, I watched its waters run smooth and tan with spring runoff. This inspired me to keep my palette muted in order to capture the mists rising off the water after a light rain had moved on its way. (This piece is mounted in a black floating frame.)
